Steel socket welded / screwed pipe fittings and specialized buttweld pipe fittings both seamless and welded and flanges.
Eften Engineering has commenced manufacturing operations with forged steel socket welded / screwed pipe fittings conforming to material ASTM standards and dimensions to ANSI standards. Eften Engineering has credit of obtaining the ISO 9001-2000 Accreditation by GIC.
With the specialized and enhanced manufacturing facilities and start of the art technology in bending process, we are manufacturing both seamless and welded buttweld pipe fittings. The manufacturing facility includes bending machine, bending furnace. 300T and 500T Hydraulic presses, heat treatment furnaces, beveling machines, CNC machines, shot blasting machines, automatic painting unit etc. to bring out the finished fitting with highest class quality and surface finish to meet the requirements of International standards. The manufacturing facility is strengthened by in house testing facilities with chemical laboratory, 40 Ton Universal Testing Machine, hardness tester, NDT facilities and complete with all necessary measuring instruments and gauges.
The entire facility is spread over a large area of 82000 sq ft and located at D-1, spicot industrials park, Irungattukottai, 30 Kms. From Chennai on Chennai Bangalore National Highway.
The facility is backed up by highly skilled, experienced professionals and workforce and supported and strengthened by strict quality assurance. The fittings are manufactured with the latest ASTM, ANSI, API and other international codes and standards in Carbon steel, Alloy steel and Stainless Steel to meet the demanding needs of all the customers across the globe. The installed capacity of the plant is 1800 MT per annum for the seamless B.W pipe fittings and 120 MT per annum for the forged steel socket welded / screwed fittings.
The raw material seamless pipes are being produced from reputed and renowned manufacturers namely, Sumitomo, Kawasaki of Japan, Mannessman of Germany, ISMT, Maharashtra Seamless Ltd., etc.,
The major activities in the process are incoming Raw Materials inspection, pipe cutting, pipe bending at normalizing temperature, sizing of Elbows, Tee forming, Reducer forming by cold pressing, edge preparation, shot blasting, heat treatment, automatic painting and final inspection. All cold-formed carbon steel reducers are stress relived in Heat treatment furnace. All cold formed carbon steel welded elbows and reducers are normalized / stress relieved.
For forged steel socket welded / screwed pipe fittings and forged steel flanges, the forged blanks are being procured from IBR approved vendors and further processing is carried out in our factory.
Alloy steel fittings are normalized and tempered as per the standard.
Stainless steel fittings are solution annealed as per the standard. These fittings are acid pickled and passivated as per ASTM standard.
All fittings, especially fittings meant for critical applications are manufactured and supplied under purview of third party Inspection Agencies like Lloyds Register, BV, DNV, IBR etc. We have been approved by Dalal Mot Mcdonald consultants, Chennai, Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation, Kuwait.
Our Major customers include CPCL, KRL, Spic Group, BHEL Ranipet, Gea Energy systems Ltd., Shino Petro Chemicals Ltd., We are regularly exploring the fittings and the major customers include Kuwait National Petroleum Co., Kuwait Oxygen Company etc. Eften Engineering believe in continuous upgradation and improvement in terms of quality, delivery etc. to serve the customers to their utmost satisfaction and strive for a wider Customer base globally.
